[DIGITALLY-INSPIRED] Upon closer inspection the peaceful landscapes created by Yang Yonglian reveal a gigantic megalopolis spreading as far as the eye can see. Natural elements traditionally found in Shan Sui painting are combined with digital images of skyscrapers and cranes to underline the devastation caused by urbanisation and industrialisation.
