about

AMUSEMENT?

Launched in 2008, AMUSEMENT is the first lifestyle magazine on digital culture. AMUSEMENT explores the digital tools that are redefining creativity- questioning their inventors and meeting with the digital-natives putting them to use in the most original ways.

More than a 200 page glossy magazine, AMUSEMENT is a collectible object, that boasts the contribution of  world-renowned forward-looking photographs, writers, illustrators and journalists.

Personalities such as science fiction author William Gibson- creator of The Sims, Will Wright or Jacques Fresco, the futurist with over 100 patents, have explored this new world in the pages of AMUSEMENT.

AMUSEMENT thinks (differently) but also has fun, inviting talented people to share their digital life, including Phoenix, Michel Gondry or Santigold – observing that even the biggest technophobes find themselves somewhere in the digital matrix.

With a format and aesthetic approach that breaks the mould of Tech publications everywhere, AMUSEMENT gets a “1-up!” for it’s innovative use of Fashion photographers, advertisers, illustrators and set designers, and for giving a voice to a generation of digital-native creative minds throughout its pages. The result is an ultra-contemporary mash-up of of image and text either capturing the immateriality of our time or sanctifying the technological totems surrounding us.

“AMUSEMENT” is the pleasure of taking a step somewhere beyond the limits of the real-world, the satisfaction of witnessing the creation of worlds in the making … or the euphoria of being among those who are already living there” START.

Since its first issue, AMUSEMENT has worked with contributors from The New-York Times, The Observer, Wired, Vanity Fair, The Guardian, Wallpaper, Vogue, ArtPress, Le Monde…
