NAME: Sonos Playground Deconstructed
DESCRIPTION: This installation invites visitors to select a song on an iPad and to watch its visualization on the walls of the space. Painted with black and white lines, the five walls become a canvas for the digital mapping. The installation is more than a sophisticated visualization of music, a motion capture system enables the visitor to interact with the animation for an even more immersive experience. A first version of the Sonos Playground was presented during the 2013 SXSW festival in Austin to showcase the performance of the Sonos Playbar. This second version is on view at the Museum of the Moving Image in New York until June 16th.
