NAME: Remember Me concept art

AUTHOR: French artist Paul Chadeisson.

DESCRIPTION: Remember Me is an upcoming video game developed by DONTNOD Entertainment. Set in Paris in 2084, the concept art of the game imagined by Paul Chadeisson shows us a dystopian version of the City of Light. Billboards are everywhere and the bourgeois Haussmann buildings disappear behind huge grey constructions. No more light, only rain and clouds fill up the sky.

AMUSEMENT RATE: From Blade Runner to Total Recall, one can easily spot Chadeisson’s inspirations. The architecture of Paris is magnificent but the city does somewhat lack the excitement only modern buildings can bring. There are plenty of those in this series and it definitely makes the city less welcoming. However, it is a nice futuristic change and with all these skyscrapers, housing problems will finally be resolved. We’ll have to wait next May to find out if Remember Me is any good, but if the game is as great as its concept art, we’re in for an amazing gaming experience.
