You’re crazy about Lara Croft and you’ve always dreamed of taking part in an epic adventure? Your dream will become true thanks to the development team of the new Tomb Raider episode and to the geocaching experience.

The world is full of Indiana Jones wannabes. The less reckless ones play to Uncharted when others, true adventure lovers, brave mountains and seas. That’s why some guys created a mix between a treasure hunt and the digital world: the geocaching. How to be a part of it? Find geolocated treasures or hide your own.

Crystal Dynamics, developers of this next Tomb Raider video game, logically integrated the system of geocaching in Lara Croft’s new adventures: not only will you be able to play in front of your TV but you will also have the possibility to take part of a real quest. More intense, more fun. The challenges will embody the spirit of the game and the experience will use a new system of geolocated pictures: Groundspeak. All this will be scripted and the treasures will be relevant to the game : a pure grave hunter experience.

Even if the next Tomb Raider’s game, planned for the fourth quarter of 2012, is a deception, you’ll still be able to live a great experience in real life and explore the Earth’s landscapes by registering here. Take your shovel and your flashlight, this quest will be epic!

Tomb Raider geocaching experience will start in the fourth quarter of 2012 / Tomb Raider from Square Enix studios will also be released in the fourth quarter of 2012.

Gigantic net suspended in the air becomes a crowd-controlled sculpture powered by Google Chrome

By AMUSEMENT

[DIGITALLY-INSPIRED] Spanning 745 feet between buildings of downtown Vancouver, this monumental interactive sculpture was built for TED's 30th anniversary. At night, the net made of a fiber 15 times stronger than steel comes to live as projectors illuminate the structure. Visitors are then able to interact with the sculpture to transform it into a massive crowd-controlled artwork.
